Description
Dark leatherbound pencil-clasp notebook. Includes information on rail, porterage, cab, and coach fares, food prices such as for "meat" and "cake", and journey details for a trip taken between 14 May and 3 August. Included are such errands as "obtained Lewis' bill for extra horses" (2 August). The back of the notebook contains various addresses and two pencil sketches of men, one with the caption "Under the Coach".
