Description
Letter from Martin at 31 Onslow Square, London to Burton remarking that the notes Burton has sent will be useful for a monograph Martin is writing on Sir Frederic William Burton. Martin refers to a memorandum book bought by himself at a book sale likely kept by Sir Frederic's mother for recording the sums earned by his work from 1837-1851, including the sums paid by Martin's late wife Helena Faucit for two pictures. Letter has annotations suggesting that a reply was sent on 10 January 1901.
