Description
Handwritten letter from Aloysius O'Kelly to James Herbert, accompanied by an envelope. O’Kelly relates that he has left the Hotel de France and is now living in his studio, doing his own cooking and housekeeping which allows him to be vegetarian. Describes the fresh produce available in the area and encloses a bill from his wine merchant to show the low price of wine in the region. Relates that Concarneau is crowded with sailors and artists. O'Kelly encourages Herbert and his family to visit him in due course.
