Description
Handwritten letter from Aloysius O'Kelly to James Herbert, also including a typewritten exhibtion card. O’Kelly thanks Herbert for letters received and expresses the hope that Herbert was not harmed by the explosion of the land boom in Florida. Goes on to state that this will be his last letter from Ireland and his new address is Hotel de France, Concarneau, Finistère, France. Relates that his time in Dublin has been spent contacting people and exhibiting works but he has not sold any. He will paint again in France even though it is ‘disappointing and unprofitable’. Overall however he is happy with his time in Ireland. O'Kelly encloses an exhibition card of his Dublin exhibition.
