Description
Handwritten letter from Aloysius O'Kelly to James Herbert, also including an envelope. O’Kelly writes that he is not in need of money as he has a bank credit for over £100 and is better off than he ever was. He will not need more money until he goes to France. States that he is not disappointed with his year’s work in Ireland but is disappointed in the lack of buyers. Mentions correspondence with John McCormack and efforts to arrange an exhibition of his work. O’Kelly relates his happiness that Herbert plans to visit Europe with his family during the summer and encourages Herbert to visit him in France. O’Kelly states that he is anxious to return to France.
