Description
Handwritten letter from Aloysius O'Kelly to James Herbert, also including an envelope. Discusses the complications surrounding the £50 sent by Herbert but says that the matter has been closed. Describes the damp weather and mentions that he is inclined to join Herbert on his proposed trip to Florida. O'Kelly describes the difficulties arising from the coal strike. Mentions his disappointment in the landlord and daughter as he has to do much of his own work and cooking. Describes a disappointing visit to the Archbishop of Cashel at his palace in Thurles; the archbishop did not purchase his work.
