Correspondence between Alf MacLochlainn and National Gallery of Ireland Librarian Ann Stewart relating to the acquisition of the Mulrenin letter transcripts
Description
Three letters of correspondence between Ann Stewart, Librarian of the National Gallery of Ireland and Alf MacLochlainn, former director of the National Library of Ireland, and subsequently Visiting Chair in Irish Studies at the Burns Library at Boston College. MacLochlainn explains that he has come across a series of Bernard Mulrenin letters in the collection of Maurice Lenihan and wishes to prepare an edition of them, and sends on the raw transcripts of the letters to the Gallery.
