Description
Contains 10 small [mezzotint] engravings "printed by The Beautiful Mezzogravure Process" of "His Majesty the King’s pictures" with "descriptive letterpress by Lionel Cust." This is the first in a series of similar booklets. [Mezzotint]-copied works include "The Three Princesses" by Gainsborough, "Portrait of the Artist" by Reubens, "Napoleon at Fontainebleau"by Delaroche among others. Also included is an informational pamphlet encasing the miniatures providing descriptions of the original artworks.
