Description
Letter from Walter Osborne in North Littleton, Worcestershire, England to his father William Osborne regarding his work there. Walter also describes his interactions with locals, including "Careless," a man who is critical of his work, and his daughter who is "very tall and very thin and exceedingly ugly." Walter also describes his experiences by the fire at the local inn "where all the wit and learning of North Littleton centres itself." Letter is illustrated with a pencil sketch for "Girl Feeding Hens."
