Transcribed letter from Bernard Mulrenin to Mary Mulrenin regarding his search for new lodgings, and Mary's return to Dublin from Westmeath
Description
Transcribed typescript copy of a letter from Bernard Mulrenin at 40 Sackville Street, Dublin to his wife Mary who is presently staying with Robert Barklie, Esq. and family at Coola Mills, Kilbeggan, County Westmeath. Mulrenin acknowledges Mary's uneasiness and states that he has been searching for new lodgings for them since the "row" but has yet to find any suitable accommodation. Mulrenin also observes that Ann appears to be recovering, but still does not look well. He wishes to send Mary a bonnet and a habit and asks whether he should send them by boat or by coach, the latter he prefers. Postscript concerns a cholera outbreak and lists some acquaintances who have died in Sligo.
