Transcribed letter from Bernard Mulrenin to Mary Mulrenin regarding her journey to Coola
Description
Transcribed typescript copy of a letter from Bernard Mulrenin at 40 Sackville Street, Dublin to his wife Mary, presently residing at the home of Robert Barklie, Esq. at Coola Mills, Kilbeggan, County Westmeath. Mulrenin describes his displeasure at Mary having forgotten an important part of her clothing for her journey and hopes she will not get a cold. He also gives an account of his dispute with Falvey's secretary over money owed. He goes on to relate that Ann has been to see the doctor and was recommended pills and "country air." Mulrenin also provides an account of his progress on an unnamed child's portrait.
