Transcribed letter from Bernard Mulrenin to Mary Mulrenin regarding his work in London
Description
Transcribed typescript copy of a letter from Bernard Mulrenin, addressed from Peele's Coffee House, London to his wife Mary at 40 Sackville Street, Dublin. Mulrenin describes his uneasiness at not having heard from Mary recently. He also notes that he is nearly finished with the commission for Lord Dungarvan, and has arranged to see an exhibition of paintings by Sir Thomas [Lawrence]. He has also received an invitation from Sir Charles Morgan's friend to see a collection of paintings, and has visited Somerset House and the Society for the Encouragement of Arts.
