Description
Transcribed typescript copy of a letter from Bernard Mulrenin at Peele's Coffee House, 177 Fleet Street, London to his wife Mary in Dublin. Mulrenin describes his first few days in London and his visit to Somerset House because it is likely to be closed after the anticipated death of King George IV. Mulrenin has also seen Lord F[rancis] L[eveson] Gower and J[ohn] Dolan, as well as the Bridgewater Collection. He also describes going to Saint James's Palace to see King William IV entering, describing the chaotic scene.
