Transcribed letter from Bernard Mulrenin to Mary Mulrenin concerning his work in Sligo
Description
Transcribed typescript copy of a letter from Bernard Mulrenin to Mary Mulrenin at 10 Lower Sackville Street, Dublin, from Sligo. Mulrenin expresses his displeasure at Mary for having not used the money he has sent recently, and responds to Mary's concerns that he is not anxious to come home. Mulrenin also informs his wife of his current finances, stating that because he is "asked to breakfast and dinner every day" he pays only for his bed, offering to send more money if Mary desires it. Mulrenin also discusses his work for Mr. McGloin, and makes reference to a number of common acquaintances.
