Description
Transcribed typescript copy of a courtship letter in which Mulrenin expresses his agony at Mary's decision and asks what has happened to change her mind. He also writes that he will include the ring he had intended to present to her, stating that 'I send it because it was intended for you, in the first place, and no other shall ever see it, I send it because 'tis at least a small proof of my sincerity...'
