Description
Pen sketch depicting an artist standing outside with his easel, canvas and palette, and showing his painting to a passing golfer. The sketch contains the following lines of dialogue at the bottom - 'Artist: my friend, is it not perfect to have before you such a beautiful landscape? Golf Friend: Beautiful landscape! Rubbish! There's not even the makings of a second rate links here.' Reverse features a handwritten label which reads as follows: 'Daddy (W.O) was very [warned?] b4* Bunny was born and tried making drawings for PUNCH (see over) all of which were rejected. WOE.' *financially
