Description
Handwritten letter on Metropolitan School of Art headed paper, in which Orpen comments on his satisfaction with progress on the 'Lawson' portrait, his fear that Mrs Goodbody might be a 'dull subject', and a relaxing boat ride he has enjoyed recently. Letter is accompanied by an envelope addressed to Mrs William Orpen, at 13 Royal Hospital Road, Chelsea, London S.W.
