Description
Handwritten letter on headed paper, addressed from 5 Bolton Gardens South, London SW., in which Orpen tells Grace that he has sold a drawing for £15, and can send her a cheque for £6. He also mentions that he will go to see Hugh Lane's 'Titian'. Letter is accompanied by an envelope addressed to Mrs. William Orpen, Sea View, Bath Road, Bournemouth, United Kingdom, and postmarked from Earls Court, 8 December 1906.
