Handwritten letter in which Orpen describes a debacle with a broken stove and the resulting smoke damage to his room. He mentions the arrival of Christmas, and the impact of the cold weather. Letter is accompanied by an envelope addressed to Lady Orpen, and stamped 17 November 1921
