Letter from William Orpen to Grace Orpen concerning his work in France, and the Peace Conference

Description
Handwritten letter on headed paper, addressed from the British Delegation, Paris, in which Orpen tells Grace that he is currently painting General Sackville-West [Major-General Charles John Sackville-West, 4th Baron Sackville, KBE CB CMG (1870-1962)?], but that he is finding it difficult. Orpen also mentions Arthur Streeton [Sir Arthur Ernest Streeton (1867-1943)?] and writes that he [Streeton] is travelling to Australia for a year. Letter includes a reference to Lord Astor who Orpen writes 'thinks my price too high to paint her Ladyship...' Letter is accompanied by an envelope addressed to Lady Orpen at the Corner House, Royal Hospital Road, Chelsea, London SW., Angleterre, and postmarked from Paris, 18 December 1919.
