Description
Handwritten letter on headed paper, addressed from the Hotel Ritz, Paris, in which Orpen describes 'living on the fat of the land with the great QMG and Evelyn Fitzgerald - dining with nothing but generals - I have never seen Paris with the rich man's eyes before, at the rate they have lived these days - the money would have kept me going for months when I was here last...'
