Description
Handwritten letter on headed paper, addressed from Holmleigh, Huddersfield, in which Orpen notes that he has had to move to the George Hotel, as his previous accommodation had become crowded. He relates that this has put him 'out of sorts.' He also writes of his reluctance to dine with a man named Wood, 'who is very dull and eats nothing but nuts...' Letter also includes a reference to a visit by the bailiffs.
