Illustrated letter from William Orpen to Grace Orpen from Kersal, conveying his homesickness

Description
Handwritten letter on headed paper, addressed from The Gables, Singleton Road, Kersal, in which Orpen writes how much he misses his wife, and also of an enjoyable visit to a local bookseller who has a 'splendid collection and some magnificent Ruskin drawings.' He also mentions that he is currently reading Henrik Ibsen's 'The League of Youth'. Letter concludes with a pen sketch of the artist [Orpen] visiting Grace while she sleeps.
