Illustrated letter from William Orpen to Grace Orpen telling her of his intended return to London the following day

Description
Handwritten letter on headed paper, addressed from The Gables, Singleton Road, Kersal, in which Orpen writes that he will be arriving to St. Pancras the following night at 8.35pm and asks for collection. He also mentions that 'Mr Hughes is pleased at the way the painting is going on! This is all I can say for it.' Letter concludes with a pen sketch of the artist boarding a train carriage.
