Letter from William Orpen to Grace Orpen expressing his affection
Description
Handwritten letter, addressed from '21' [Fitzroy Street, London] in which Orpen writes of his delight at walking through the streets and seeing husbands and wives in their homes, and knowing that he is even luckier than them, because he has Grace. He also comments that he has spent a long day at 'Swintons.' Letter is accompanied by an envelope addressed to Miss Grace Knewstub, Milton Cottage, 12 North Hill, Highgate N., London and postmarked as [1901]
