Collection contains 23 sketchbooks and notebooks created by the artist; 2 boxes and 1 folder of material used for Gerda Frömel's retrospective exhibition in the Irish Museum of Modern Art in 2015; 1 folder of photographs of creating Frömel's large scale sculptures Sails and Setanta; 1 folder of photographs documenting a number of Frömel's work; 1 box of family correspondence in both English and German as well as some photographs; 1 folder of portraits taken of Frömel in her studio with many of her works; 1 box of ephemera which includes newspaper cuttings, magazines and correspondence; 1 folder of newspaper cuttings many of which relate to her husbands career.
