Description
Handwritten letter on headed paper, addressed from the National College of Art, Kildare Street, Dublin City, in which Keating encloses a letter from Robert Burton, grand nephew to Sir Frederick Burton, who is looking to sell a number of Burton's watercolours, and has asked for Keating's advice in identifying interested parties. Keating asks McGreevy if the Gallery would be interested in acquiring the paintings, as well as a death mask of [Mangan] which the younger Burton has subsequently written to Keating about.
