Description
Handwritten letter on headed paper, addressed from 10 Osnaburgh Street, Regents Park NW., in which Foley discusses progress on his statue of Sir Henry Marsh, M.D., to be erected in the Royal College of Physicians, Dublin. Having visited Dublin to view the position the statue is to occupy, he has had to make some alterations to the design. He also relates news of the marble he intends to use for the project. Letter includes a postscript whereby Foley apologises for the delay in his reply. He was waiting until he had more news on when he might be able to send Banks the sketches he had promised.
