Description
Handwritten letter, on headed paper, addressed from Killiney, County Dublin, from Flora Mitchell to James White (Director, National Gallery of Ireland) offering a series of paintings of Dublin, to complement the series that was previously purchased by the Gallery. In the letter she refers to her book 'Vanishing Dublin' which was published in 1966. She also relates how she had planned to publish a subsequent title, but writes that [lithography] has now become so expensive.
