Description
Handwritten letter on headed paper, addressed from the Royal Hibernian Academy of Arts, 13 South Frederick Street, Dublin, in which Academy secretary Richard Caulfield Orpen writes to Betty Brooks (later Webb) conveying his delight at the news that she will attend the Academy, and including details about upcoming classes and schedules. Letter is accompanied by an envelope addressed to Brooks in Donnybook, County Dublin. Envelope has had its postage stamp removed but includes the RHA stamp on the rear.
