Description
Handwritten letter from George Wallace, addressed from Victoria, British Columbia, to Norma and Romano Dreossi regarding events that have taken place since their last correspondence ten months earlier. This involves their friends Mike and Jenny Howe's struggles in selling their house and their daughter Julia's recent marriage to a man called Randy Halliday. Wallace also describes a visit he made to Julia and her husband's home in the Kingcome Inlet (north of Vancouver Island) a few weeks previously. Wallace relates that his wife Margaret visited her mother in Edinburgh during the year, who sadly passed away recently.
