| Description |
These three newspaper clippings were taped onto a sheet of paper, possibly by Elizabeth Crampton Gore, as the last two were published after her father’s passing. The first clipping is an abstract from The Times on Friday 1 May 1914. It is an article about the opening of the Salon des artistes français, but only the part mentioning Gore has been cut out. The second article announces an exhibition of works by the late Gore at the Victor Waddington Galleries. The third newspaper is Gore’s obituary, with a brief retelling of his life and family ties. |
