Description
Paintings by various Baroque artists including Giovanni Lanfranco and Pier Francesco Mola, along with a handwritten note in Italian. The prints were produced by various photographic studios including Vasari and Alinari. Many of them contain handwritten annotations on the verso along with various stamps such as those belonging to Vasari, the Royal Academy of Arts in London, the Gabinetto Fotografico in Naples and the National Gallery London. Many of the paintings were found in Palazzo Mattei. The paintings represented include, by Lanfranco; "Self-Portrait," "La Galatea e Polifemo," "Madonna with Child and Saint," "St Luke," "Norandino e Lucina Scampati dall'Orco" and "Jesus Served by Angels." Also includes, by Mola, "Agar nel Deserto."
