Description
Photographs of paintings and drawings by Guercino, produced by the Croci photography studio. There are annotations on the verso of many of the prints, along with "Photo Croci." The majority of the paintings in this file were photographed at various locations in Cento, including; Santa Maria Della Porvidenza, Corpo di Reno, Renazzo Cento, Cento Pinacoteca, Pieve di Cento, Palazzo Comunale and San Agostino in Reggio Emilia. There were also some paintings found in Bologna, in the collection of Del Turco Francesco Barbieri, and St Giovanni in Monte, Bologna. Paintings represented include; "Two Angels holding the Holy Face," "Mysteries of the Rosary," "Hunting Deer and Wild Boar," "Landscape," "The Harvest," "Bathing in the River," "A Boat Escape," "Madonna, St Francis, St Anthony and St Bruno," "Miracle of St Charles Borromeo," "Eternal Father," "Il Padre Eterno," "Annunciation," "Susanna al Bagno," "Saint Anthony of Padua with the Baby Jesus," "Saint Anthony of Padua," "Saint Apollinaris," "St Joseph," "St Jerome," "St Francis Receiving the Stigmata" and "Self-Portrait."
