Description

Photographs of Guercino paintings and drawings found in Berlin, Copenhagen and Stockholm. There are other artists represented in this file, such as Adam Elsheimer and Jeremias Falck. Many of the prints contain annotations on the verso, and also have stamps including; "Bibliotek Der Staatl Museen Berlin Lichtbildwerkstatt," "Berlin Kupierstichkabinett," "Thorvaldsens Museum," "Nationalmusei Fotografiforsaljning" and "Jonals Co. Bredgade 74, Kobenhavn." The artworks were found in collections in various institutions, such as the Staatl Museen Berlin, the Rijksmuseum, Thorvaldsens Museum and the Nationalmuseum Sweden. Artworks contained include "Landscape with a Bathing Nymph" by Adam Elsheimer and “Koningin Semiramis verneemt nieuws over de Babylonische" by Jeremias Falck. There are numerous drawings and sketches by Guercino.
