Description
Minutes of a board meeting held on 13th November 1962 in which the following was discussed: a subcommittee was formed to deal with the Milltown furniture, and the minutes of their meeting are transcribed here, following the minutes of the December meeting. The Milltown furniture was inspected and it was decided to divide the collection into three groups; items which should be retained in The National Gallery, items which are especially suited to other institutions, and general items which could be allocated to Government offices. Disposal of furniture is discussed.
