Minutes of a board meeting held on 13th February 1976 in which the following was discussed: the following were approved for purchase; two Andrew Nicholl watercolours, two views of Dublin by William Ashford [NGI 4137-4138], and medieval frescoes offered by Roger Ferrero. The Gallery sanctioned three requests for loans. The Friends of the National Collections of Ireland were given permission to use the lecture theatre, and the Italian cultural Institute was given permission to hold a concert in the Gallery. Three receptions were permitted to be held in the Gallery. The Director's annual report and Confidential report were read and approved. The Shaw Fund and Lane Fund were discussed.
