Description
Minutes of a board meeting held on 8th February 1974 in which the following was discussed: further discussion was held surrounding the restorer, Mr Moss. Two Irish landscape drawings by William Roe were accepted with thanks [NGI 19165], along with "Lady Cameron" a miniature on ivory. The Gallery sanctioned five loan requests. Mrs Muriel Brandt was appointed to represent the board in the Taylor Art Competition. Permission was given for two functions to be held in the Gallery. The Director read a report on staffing. The Director's annual report was adopted and a press conference was to be arranged. The Shaw Fund and the Lane Fund were discussed.
