Description
Minutes of a board meeting held on 8th June 1973 in which the following was discussed: a report was read regarding a committee meeting of the Shaw Fund in London. "Landscape with Peasants and Dog" by Robert Carver was approved for purchase [NGI 4065]. A gift of portraits by Pyke from the Pearl Bar were accepted [NGI 19145]. "Annunciation" by Carlo Carlone was sanctioned on loan. Permission was granted for the German Embassy to hold a concert in the Gallery. The Shaw Fund and the Lane Fund were discussed. A report was received from the Board of Works on the issue of dry rot in the French Room.
