Description
Minutes of a board meeting held on 10th July 1970 in which the following was discussed: originally called on the 3rd July, the meeting was pushed back to the 10th due to the lack of a quorum. Mr George Campbell resigned from the board. A proposed reception to be held in the Gallery was discussed. The purchase of a bronze bust of Franck O'Connor by Seamus Murphy was confirmed [NGI 8082]. The board sanctioned three loan requests. The board accepted two items on loan from the Prior of St Mary's Tallaght. A lecture on ancient Japanese swords was permitted to be held in the Gallery. The Shaw Fund and the Lane Fund were discussed. The expense of an Italian Restoration team was also discussed.
