Description
Minutes of board meeting held on 2nd June 1961 in which the following was discussed: a vote of sympathy was passed to the family of the late Thomas Bodkin. A detailed report on fire precautions by the Board of Works is anticipated. A self-portrait of William Curning [NGI 1725] was accepted from Mrs Helen Hasted. It was decided to lend the "Opening of the Sixth Seal" by Francis Danby [NGI 162] for an exhibition in Bristol. Further discussion of Shaw and Lane Funds.
