Description
Minutes of board meeting held on 5th April 1961 in which the following was discussed: this was a meeting of the sub-committee on proposed legislation. Discussion on the roles of ex-officio members, if the quorum of nine remains necessary it was agreed that the ex-officio members should attend meetings. It was agreed to seek authority to make loans to Aras an Uachtarain. Legislation needed to allow Dublin Corporation to pass over works in Charlemont House to the National Gallery. The board 'does not desire to have the power to apply gifts'.
