The status of the Shaw Fund and Lane Fund were discussed. The Director reported that attendance of the Gallery had increased, and there was a pleasing public reaction to the "Annunciation." The board inspected a prototype of a rope railing which was to be placed in front of all pictures in the Gallery for protection. The Director informed the board that the preparation for the Yeats Exhibition was nearing completion, and that a start had been made in preparing for the 1916 exhibition.
