Description
Minutes of board meeting held on 7th December 1955 in which the following was discussed: Lord Longford re-appointed to the board for a further five years. Four Primitives that had been bequeathed to the Dublin Municipal Gallery by Lady Ashborne were lent 'for an indefinite period' to the Gallery. A request for loans of important pictures 'considered to be of special modern interest' by the Dublin Municipal Gallery was declined.
