Description
Minutes of board meeting held on 5th October 1955 in which the following was discussed: discussion on the ongoing situation on the loan of pictures to Belfast. It was suggested to arrange an interview with the Taoiseach regarding the Director's salary. It was requested to convey to Mrs McKinley Hayes gratitude for the gift of a drawing of Ernest Boyd by J B Yeats [NGI 3288]. It was agreed to purchase a bust of songwriter/poet Denny Lane for £20 from Mr W Morrissey.
