Description
Minutes of board meeting held on 2nd February 1955 in which the following was discussed: discussion of the Directors salary. A request made through the Department of Education to make a film of the pictures of the Collection was granted. The Director submitted "The Martyrdom of Saint Lawrence" by Baccio Bandinelli [NGI 1301] which he had purchased for £850. It was agreed to lend "Boy on a Terrace" by van Dyck [NGI 809] to Genoa.
