Description
Minutes of board meeting held on 13th February 1933 in which the following was discussed: this was a special meeting to discuss the utilization of Vice-Regal Lodge as an annex to the Gallery. The board were of the opinion that the Lodge was not structurally suited to the exhibition of pictures. Offer of portrait of George Moore by Orpen [NGI 7830.44?] from the Leicester Galleries for £38 was declined. It was reported the board's proposal for increase in annual estimates had been refused by the Department of Finance.
