Description
Minutes of board meeting held on 28th July 1915 in which the following was discussed: some members of the board were appointed to deal with the bequest of Hugh Lane - Mr Bailey, Miss Purser [Board of Governors 1914 to at least 1932], Mr Hogg [Board of Governors 1904 to at least 1928], and Lord Mayo. Mr Strickland resigned his position as Director but after some private discussion amongst the board and communication with Mr Strickland, Mr Strickland agreed to continue in his role.
