Description
Minutes of board meeting held on 24th August 1910 in which the following was discussed: no quorum. Original drawings of the Custom House by James Gandon offered by the Commission of H M Board of Works. The Director reported that he had purchased drawings by the late J M Swan [NGI 2643, 2644] for £115. Two pictures purchased, A portrait of James Barry for £30. A portrait of Lady Dobbin [NGI 634] by John Comerford for £10. It was agreed to lend some engravings to the RHA. The Director was empowered to employ a Mr Milford Lewis to photograph 'selected pictures in the Gallery'.
