Description
Minutes of board meeting held on 24th June 1910 in which the following was discussed: no Governor Present. Purchases of nine pictures listed with prices was approved. An oil sketch by Walter Osborne bequeathed by Charlotte O'Brien and accepted ["A sketch at Rye" NGI 612]. The Director read a letter from the British Committee of the Exhibition of Flemish Art of the 17th Century requesting the loan of three pictures. The board agreed to the loan of two but not a third by van Dyck (on the advice of the Director). Some discussion of getting an illustrated catalogue of the collection. The Director read his report for 1909. List of numerous paintings, with prices, purchased during the year. List of bequests and donations made also listed. No attendance figure noted.
